Blood On the LeavesThe atmosphere of the dense jungle was unbelievably hot and humid as the local wildlife sang and chirped away as if nothing was a miss. Beckett rubbed his eye with the back of his gloved fist to remove some of the sweat from his vision as he halted, raising his fist high to confirm with the initiates behind him to halt. He kept his firearm held ready, a simple pump-shotgun that he had taken a liken to instead of the Assault shotgun that was standard. Close Quarters MetApart from the sounds of battle in the distance, the streets of the living complexes fell silent for a split second. A figure raised their head from the Heretic’s defences, peering out of a window to see what the Blood Angels were planning. The roar that Master Beckett gave with his Honour Guard was all he heard before he noticed the 6 Red Giants charging for the building. “They’re coming!” was all he shouted as he jumped down from the battlements and towards the rest of the cowering Heretics. “They are Coming!” He rang out again before he was hit in the chest by a gigantic hand, sending him into the nearby way.Close Quarters Met

Tears from the SkyThe re-entry thrusters kicked in and the force of them trying to slow the decent of the pod sent a jolt up the occupant’s spines. The Force would have killed any other mere human but these men strapped within the bellies of these ‘shells’ were the Adeptus Astartes, Super Human Space Marines. Master Beckett saw the countdown ticking away within his helmet, 5, 4, 3, 2… The Crash of the pod hitting the concrete runway of the Space Station sent another jolt up his spine and the then petals fired open, the supports lifting off the Marines of Master Beckett’s honour guard charging out of the pod and grouping with Master BecTears from the Sky
